Stephanie Noland is a director in our Chicago office. So far during her time here, Stephanie has been a leader, mentor, and been a key person in helping our Chicago office grow and succeed. We chatted with Stephanie to get to know more about her role at Jabian and her experience as a director.

Q: What does your role entail?

A: I have had the pleasure of helping build our Jabian brand and local team over the past two years – and that’s just the icing on the cake! The core part of my role as a director is to partner with clients to solve their largest challenges.

Q: Can you give us an example of a cool project or most recent project?

A: Any given week can bring many exciting activities such as this past week, I was helping a client roll out IT vendor management capabilities, sharing my experiences with another client about a niche system I know well, brainstorming with a client individual as he considers his career path, speaking as a panelist at an event for CFO’s alongside a Fortune 100 CFO, and collaborating with two other women I met through Jabian networking on launching our new community organization focused on driving progressive reform for women in Chicago. And I had dinner and tucked my kids in every night. Yeah, it was a fulfilling week…!

Q: Why should someone want to work at Jabian?

A: Jabian is a great place for someone who is intellectually curious, a natural problem-solver, and has a sense they have more to offer this world than their current role allows. Since we work cross-functionally and across industries, you never know what need may come your way. But at Jabian, you feel empowered as a true partner to your clients to help them personally or professionally. I also appreciate that our performance and development framework challenge my growth, and that of my mentees to be holistic, dynamic individuals. And our caring extends into the community as well with a clear focus on sharing our time, talent, and treasure with community organizations.

Q: What keeps you at Jabian?

A: The people (my office colleagues feel like old friends), the work (I’m never bored), and the opportunities to be the best human I can be.
