Where did you go to college?

I went to Colorado State for undergrad and didn’t know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. After that, I went to Notre Dame for business school.

What was your favorite job growing up?

I always loved caddying. Golf is and has been a passion of mine and caddying offered me the chance to be around golf and learn more about the game as a kid, as well as how to build relationships and learn the foundations for any job in client service.

Do you have any siblings?

I have two older sisters. One lives in Golden, Colorado and the other has recently relocated from Colorado to Nashville. My eldest niece will be starting college in the Fall and has chosen one very close to Chicago, so we are extremely excited to get to see more of her soon.

If you could go back and repeat or redo one year, which year would it be and why?

2005 was a pretty good year as I was just out of business school, travelling the world in my new consulting job and had just begun dating my now wife and spending more and more time in Chicago, which would eventually become my long-term hometown.

What is your favorite band?

U2. At any given point, there may be a band that I like more than U2, but their staying power and the timeless nature of so much of their music will probably always keep them at the top of the list.

You have to hit the green… Do you hit a hard 9 or a soft 8?

Smooth 8 for sure… It typically doesn’t end well when swinging hard is anywhere close to my swing thought…

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Hitting a lot of smooth 8 irons into the greens.

What’s scarier – a room full of spiders or snakes?

Eeeshh… not a fan of either, but snakes are probably worse.

Are you a grammar nerd?

No, but I do like a good Oxford comma.

Why did you come to Jabian?

I joined Jabian because my philosophy on management consulting aligns very well with the firm’s culture and guiding principles. I am very excited to grow an existing brand in my home market, take our offerings to Chicago clients, and attract top local consulting talent to the Jabian Way.

What do you love most about Chicago?

I love Chicago because it has an amazing big city culture and amenities, yet still a decidedly Midwest feel and spirit to it. It is a world class city that lacks the pretension of many other hubs of culture and commerce around the world. That’s not to say I wouldn’t trade climates with Los Angeles for a few months every winter…

What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I am really good (according to my daughter) at coloring unicorns. Like, the best.
