Meet Bridget Eisele, a manager at Jabian Consulting. In this spotlight, Bridget speaks to her experience with mentorship in the workplace and how her time at Jabian has allowed her to push herself out of her comfort zone and develop new skills. Mentorship is an essential component of professional growth and development, and it’s no different at Jabian. Bridget has experienced firsthand the impact that a supportive mentor can have on one’s career trajectory.

Q: Where did you join from and what brought you to Jabian?

A: I came to Jabian in 2022 after spending almost four years at Cloudmed (formerly Triage Consulting Group), a healthcare revenue cycle firm that I joined right out of college. I was in a major “I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up” phase so I was looking for a company where I could learn about and experience different kinds of work and industries. I also really value work-life balance and community involvement, so Jabian seemed like the perfect fit!

Q: In what ways women can support other women in the workplace? How have you experienced that at Jabian?

A: I think mentorship is a great way for women to support other women in the workplace. I’ve had several amazing women mentors over the past several years who have been instrumental in supporting me and pushing me to reach my full potential. Jabian’s emphasis on mentorship and connecting me with my incredible career developer, Victoria, has equipped me with the resources and support to achieve success in my career.

Q: What is one thing you would tell your starting-out self if you could? Is that advice still relevant for women starting in the field today?

A: I would tell myself to not be afraid to take risks and push myself out of my comfort zone, and I believe that advice holds true for anyone starting out in their career. Just a couple of years ago, I never would have pictured myself working in management consulting. Working at Jabian has pushed me to build new skills that have required getting me out of my comfort zone, which has ultimately allowed me to learn and grow in my career in ways I wouldn’t have imagined even just a year ago.
