The Atlanta Business Chronicle named Dan Gordon, Jabian executive director, to their 2022 list of Leaders in Corporate Citizenship. The list awards 16 individuals across seven categories. Dan is honored in the category of Executive Champion – Small Company. The Leaders in Corporate Citizenship honorees were selected by a panel of past winners, corporate responsibility advocates, and Chronicle editorial leaders.
In his interview with Atlanta Business Chronicle Dan said that one of the most important factors in creating strong leadership and strategy on tackling social issues at a corporation is “deeply understanding the issue(s) you are trying to tackle from a 360-degree perspective with quality data to back up what is working (or not)… Leaders should lead by example, communicate often, and celebrate their team’s impact.” To read more of Dan’s interview, click here.
Dan currently leads Jabian’s Atlanta headquarters office and serves as Leadership Atlanta’s recent Board Chair. Prior to Jabian, Dan led as Chief of Staff at Emory University and COO of the City of Atlanta.
