Their mission is to build better futures for adults by teaching literacy, life, and work skills that empower them to reach their highest potential. Literacy Action is a pipeline to employment, better wages, technical colleges, and the university system. They offer free classes to all levels of adult learners working toward a certain functionality goal or a specific credential, like passing the GED exam, ESL, and Citizenship classes.
