Jabian Consulting launched Project Amplify in February 2021, in recognition of their fifteenth anniversary. One year later, Project Amplify has positively impacted 25 minority or women entrepreneurs across Jabian’s four markets in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, and Dallas, TX through financial support, mentoring, and professional consulting services assistance.

Project Amplify is a micro-grant program created to support nonprofits that encourage, enable, and position women and minority entrepreneurs for success. Over the course of 2021, the program distributed $175,000 by micro-grants through four different nonprofits in support of 25 entrepreneurs, in addition to coaching, access to Jabian’s social networks, and professional consulting services assistance.

Jabian partnered with four nonprofits for Project Amplify: Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, Impact Ventures, Innovate Charlotte, and Chicago Urban League. The nonprofits teamed up with Jabian to choose grant winners based on pitches presented by each candidate. Candidates were judged on the clarity of their business definition, customer/consumer strategies, elements of the community, recent momentum, and relevance of coaching support.
