Atlanta, Georgia – April 11, 2012 – Jabian Consulting is honored to be among seven small consulting companies in America on the 2012 “Seven to Watch” list published by Consulting magazine in their annual “Seven Small Jewels” issue.

The “Seven Small Jewels” issue celebrates standout small firms. While only seven could be chosen from the more than 140 nominees, another seven caught the eye of the editorial committee and were highlighted for their growth and future promise. As the article notes, “In this uncertain economy… most consulting firms seem content to carve out whatever growth they can and move on.” Jabian and the other firms in this issue represent the exception to that trend. The write-up reads:

“Atlanta-based IT firm, Jabian Consulting, is no stranger to Consulting magazine awards. Jabian’s been on our Best Small Firms to Work For ranking every year since the ranking debuted in 2008. The firm with a senior-level consulting model makes our Seven to Watch list this year for posting 70 percent growth year on year. It’s forecasting another 40 percent growth for 2012.”

Jabian founding co-partner, Chris Reinking, says being mentioned alongside such standout national firms feels like an acknowledgement of how far Jabian has come and what success lies ahead. “We pride ourselves on Jabian’s culture and both client and employee satisfaction. We’re not resting on our laurels by any means, but we’re pleased with such positive recognition of the unique way we do business.”

Among the factors that got the magazine’s attention: Jabian has been recognized locally and nationally as a “best place to work” or “fastest growing” nine times. Staff enjoy high-end benefits, profit sharing, and recent additions such as a health/wellness budget and voluntary 360-degree feedback program. Each consultant selects a platform(s) as a field of expertise to develop and is matched with an internal Jabian mentor and an external Atlanta business leader to provide guidance. Work-life balance is often cited as a key strength, and employee turnover is extremely low.

Jabian also stands out for its community leadership, with more than one-third of employees serving leadership positions outside the firm. Jabian is a board member and platinum sponsor of the Technology Association of Georgia and hosts quarterly Executive Roundtables to help clients network within the business community. The firm’s philanthropic arm, Jabian Cares, donated 500 volunteer hours to local charities and gave financially to 26 Atlanta nonprofits in 2011.
