Atlanta, Georgia (November 12, 2010) – The Atlanta Business Chronicle has handed out its annual “Up and Comers 40 Under 40” awards and Jabian Consulting’s Brian Betkowski is among the new class of honorees.

The award, now in its seventh year, recognizes individuals who have reached significant career achievements in the past year and demonstrated social responsibility in the community.

According to a profile in the special section in the November 12 issue of the Chronicle, Betkowski says, “Giving back to our community through our employee led charitable fund Jabian Cares and being selected for a second year in a row by Consulting Magazine as a National Best Places to Work are several ways our executive management team and employees are achieving great success.”

As an honoree, Betkowski joins a group of past winners who continue to convene years after receiving the award. The Up and Comers Alumni group helps select the new class of promising leaders each year. Martin Fleischmann, Up and Comers Alumni Chair, says each new class brings in fresh talent and thinking, “Every year new members with diverse backgrounds and skills have brought their own energy and synergies to the broader group.”

“It’s humbling to be recognized alongside these leaders, all of whom are doing great things,” says Betkowski. “I appreciate that the Chronicle puts an emphasis on not only career achievement but community work as well. That’s something that’s important to all of us here at Jabian.”

Chris Reinking and Nigel Zelcer, fellow co-founding partners of Jabian, could not be more proud. “We were thrilled to hear it. Brian’s work ethic and sense of responsibility to the Atlanta community set a great example for young leaders to come,” Reinking said.
