Inc. magazine has announced its 2011 rankings for the Inc. 500|5000, placing Jabian among the top U.S. companies for growth and performance.

Atlanta, Georgia – September 1, 2011 – Jabian Consulting can be found on more and more top-company lists these days, with the latest being the Inc. 500|5000, ranked by Inc. magazine. The magazine evaluates companies according to percentage revenue growth, and has placed Jabian at #34 in Atlanta, #37 in Georgia, #107 in its industry, and #1,008 in the United States.

Inc. calls the 5,000 companies on the list the “engines of the economy,” responsible for creating 370,592 jobs in the last three years. It points out that companies five years old and younger account for almost all net job growth. An excerpt from the article announcing the list reads:

The entrepreneurs on the Inc. 500 – and beyond them, those on the Inc. 5000, and beyond them, the millions of Americans starting and managing young companies – are providing the jobs, the momentum, and, perhaps most important, the optimism to shoulder our wheel-spinning economy out of the mire.”

Jabian partner and co-founder Nigel Zelcer reflects on the honor: “At Jabian, we do focus our attention locally – our clients are local; our community involvement is local. But we also strive for excellence as part of something bigger, both in the consulting industry and in the US economy as a whole. It’s a meaningful and enormous honor to be placed among the Inc. 500|5000.”

Jabian is surrounded by local growth as well. Atlanta ranks as #5 out of the top 10 job creating cities, with 8,079 jobs created between 2007 and 2010.

Jabian’s founding partners will accept an award recognizing the firm’s ranking atthe Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, September 22-24, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.
