Jabian Consulting director Bruce King participated as a judge in the 2011 Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Southeast Software Association Impact Awards.
Atlanta, Georgia – September 29, 2011 – As a board member of the TAG Southeast Software Association, Jabian director Bruce King had the honor of evaluating all companies nominated for the association’s second annual Impact Awards. The 2011 awards recognized companies and their teams who demonstrated outstanding leadership by building excellent software solutions, making a positive impact on their clients, their business, or their community. The winners were announced in a ceremony on September 28 at the offices of Atlanta law firm, Alston & Bird.
Honors were awarded in the following categories:

3. UPS – Corporate Internal [IT] Software Development Groups: For software developed to meet internal business needs, resulting in cost reduction and improved operational efficiency, thereby leading to increased profits.
4. Digital Assent – Where Georgia Leads: For innovative and impactful solutions from a given industry in which the state of Georgia is a leading provider (2011’s highlighted industry: Healthcare IT).
5. Mobile Active Defense– Emerging Mega Trend: For an early-stage company that has developed a breakthrough software solution with significant potential to change the world.
