Senior Manager, Lisa Sivy, will receive one of the 11Alive Community Service Awards for her work in the community on April 30th.

2015 marks the 40th anniversary of the 11Alive Community Service Awards. The Awards began as a way to annually honor those in the community who contributed significantly to its betterment. The program honors 11Who Care – eleven outstanding local volunteers who have demonstrated selfless devotion for the betterment of the community.

Lisa’s community involvement spans numerous organizations. She currently serves on the Board of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta as well as previously serving on the boards of the New York Junior League, the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York, and the Jabian Cares Board of Advisors. She has also shared her time and talents with other organizations in the Atlanta community such as, Open Hand and the American Red Cross.

“It is such a gift to be able to do work that I am passionate about, namely community service. To be recognized with this group of fellow volunteers for our impact is an honor”, said Lisa.

Lisa is also a published author or articles that explore the topics of cultivating the next generation of leaders and using advisory boards as an asset to an organization.
