In August of last year, the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce (SSPC) asked Jabian for help shaping a strategic plan to take them through 2020.  In December, after three months of conducting research, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and executive workshops, Jabian delivered a comprehensive strategic plan to the Chamber.

“The plan Jabian delivered provides the guardrails and structure that will allow the Chamber to immediately get to work in 2014 to progress to its priorities and goals,” said Tom Mahaffey, SSPC Executive Director.

Jabian approached the project with three key elements in mind: thoroughness, inclusiveness, and expediency.  An understanding of the current situation and the options available, along with the identification and prioritization of initiatives were key steps in creating a plan to take the Chamber to the next level.  Jim Kelley, SSPC Chairman of the Board noted, “Jabian’s approach, thinking, collaboration, and thoroughness was well received and very much appreciated by the Strategic Planning Committee and the Board of Directors.”  Cory Jackson, the 2013 SSPC Chairman of the Board added, “ I strongly believe and am confident that the 5-year strategic plan will help the Chamber excel to new heights.”
