Jabian Consulting executive director, Jenni Crenshaw, was invited to share her thoughts and experience in a new book, “CLIMB: Leading Women In Technology Share Their Journeys To Success”.

Atlanta, Georgia (December 8, 2010) – A leader in the support and advocacy of women in technological career fields, the organization Women in Technology (WIT) has just published its first-ever book: “CLIMB: Leading Women In Technology Share Their Journeys To Success”. Jenni Crenshaw, Jabian Consulting Executive Director, authored a section of the book, in which she relates her own experience and advice on leadership.

Crenshaw was delighted to be tapped to contribute. “I am a strong believer in the WIT Mission and in personally doing everything I can to help others find opportunities for their success,” she says.

In her section, Crenshaw offers wisdom such as, “I am honored to be recognized alongside such inspiring women leaders in CLIMB. Working with WIT has not only given me the opportunities to grow my career, but through Girls Get IT and now “CLIMB”, I have been able to change futures.”

“These powerful and poignant contributions illustrate challenging and often humorous leadership lessons that can impact readers of all ages and genders,” says Sandra Hofmann, WIT president, who co-authored “CLIMB”. The book features more than 60 profiles of leaders influencing Atlanta’s business, academic and technology markets.

“We’re so proud of Jenni,” says Chris Reinking. “What she’s doing through her work at WIT is paving the way for more people in school and entering the workforce today to thrive in technology-based careers.”

WIT’s mission is to foster the advancement of women in Georgia’s technology community, “from the classroom to the boardroom.” Its members gather for events including WIT Forums, a leadership and networking series. WIT is one of three founding societies of the Technology Association of Georgia. Net proceeds from the book will provide additional funding for WIT’s philanthropic arm, the WIT Foundation.
